Sr./Jr. Recital: Hans Holkesvik/Megan Petzold, Voice/Piano

Hans Holkesvik, senior, and Megan Petzold, junior, will perform a piano/voice recital at 12:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 9th, in the Noble Recital Hall of the Jenson-Noble Hall of Music on the Luther campus.

Holkesvik will be performing “Lord God of Abraham” from Elijah by Mendelssohn; “Die Feindlichen Brüder,” “Du bist wie eine Blume,” and “Die beiden Grenadiere” by Schumann; “Deh, vieni alla finestra” from Don Giovanni by Mozart; “Chanson du depart,” “Chanson à Dulcinée”, and “Chanson du Duc” from Ibert’s Chansons de Don Quichotte, and “Lean Away” by Gene Scheer.

Petzold will be performing "Prelude in C-sharp minor" by Rachmaninoff, "Pagodes" by Debussy, and Mozart's "Piano Sonata no. 13 in B-flat major, K.333."

Holkesvik will be accompanied by Wesley Frye, piano.

Holkesvik is a student of Andrew Whitfield and Petzold is a student of John F. Strauss.
