Chamber Orchestra Concert

The Luther College Chamber Orchestra will present a spring concert on Sunday, April 18 at 4 PM.  The program will include Adagio for Strings, Op. 11 by Samuel Barber; Petite Symphonie for Wind Instruments, by Charles Gounod; and Symphony No. 1 in C major, Op. 21 by Ludwig van Beethoven. This event will be livestreamed and can be viewed on the Luther College Music Department YouTube Channel.


The Chamber Orchestra specializes in repertoire for small orchestra and mixed chamber ensembles ranging from the Baroque era to the 21st century. In addition to its own concert schedule, Chamber Orchestra performs with the Luther College Opera Workshop.

Chamber Orchestra is conducted by Daniel Baldwin.

Auditions for Chamber Orchestra are held annually. String players who join Chamber Orchestra are often also members of Symphony Orchestra.
