Faculty Artist Series: Lynne Rothrock, voice

Singer Lynne Rothrock’s engaging mega-watt personality is as expansive as her remarkable knack for uncovering priceless, little-known musical masterpieces. Her savvy style with a time-honored classic is as warm and on-target as her easy and immediate connection with an audience of any demographic.

She has a BA from Luther, MM from Western Michigan University; selected for International Cabaret Conference at Yale University, performed in musical theatre, opera, nightclubs and concert halls across the U.S., from Seattle Light Opera to Nashville’s Bluebird Cafe, from Birdland in NYC to Chicago’s Davenports Cabaret and Crooner’s & The Dakota in Minneapolis, as well as Michael Feinstien's Great American Songbook Foundation.

This cabaret performance will feature a variety of musical theatre, cabaret songs and selections from the Great American Songbook. Joined by Julia Andrews on piano and Marita May (Luther '14) on violin.
