Collegium Musicum is an Early Music ensemble specializing in the music of the Medieval, Renaissance, and Baroque periods. Singers and instrumentalists are selected by auditions open to first through fourth year students. Students play modern instruments, and receive instruction on early instruments such as viols, recorders, harpsichord and lute. Performances include one main concert per semester, plus occasional Chapel and Sunday services.
The Collegium Musicum is directed by Kathryn Reed.
Auditions for Collegium Musicum are held each semester.
Collegium Musicum rehearses Mondays 7:30-9 p.m. in the Choir Room, and Wednesdays 5:30-6:30 p.m. in the Noble Recital Hall.
