Access Resources on Your Mobile Device

Many library databases are function even on a small screen, but growing number of resources provided by Preus Library are available in mobile-friendly formats on your phone or tablet. Here you will find a summary of mobile services available, along with any relevant instructions.

  • WorldCat – OCLC WorldCat automatically detects if you are coming from a mobile browser, and will display a mobile-friendly format.

Articles and Databases

  • Library Guides – The subject and course guide site will automatically detect if you are coming from a mobile browser, and will display a mobile-friendly format.
  • ARTstor – A separate URL for the mobile site, at left, allows searching of ARTstor collections. One unique feature is the ability to select images to use as a series of flash cards.
  • EBSCO (iOS) (Android) – The apps for EBSCO database (including Academic Search Complete, CINAHL, PsycINFO, SocINDEX, and more) allow users to search across all databases provided, and view any full-text articles. For instructions on how to enable the app once downloaded, visit
  • Encyclopaedia Britannica – this site will automatically detect a mobile browser, and deliver a mobile-friendly interface.
  • JSTOR – JSTOR’s separate mobile URL, at left, is currently in beta.
  • Naxos Music Library (iOS) (Android) – to access the Luther’s collection via the Naxos app, first create a free student account at Log in to the app with the account credentials you create.
