Kevin Kraus is currently serving the Luther community as Vice President for Academic Affairs and Dean of the College.
Professor Kraus has been a member of the Biology department since 1989, focusing on the topics of principles and development of biology. Some of his course topics include Developmental Biology, Subtropical and Marine Biology, Cell Biology, and Principles of Biology: Ecology, Evolution, and Biodiversity.
During January Term, Professor Kraus leads a course in which students explore the cellular basis for oncogenesis and the various medical approaches that are used to deal with cancer. It also includes discussion of cancer patients and reflection of their experiences.
