Thanks goes to Jean Ryan for her thorough and detailed planning for the Colleague server upgrade and the help of Dustin Cote, Paul Vanney, Peter Sharp, and Faust Gertz in execution, testing, and support. Work on connections, reporting, and interface details will continue through next week. Colleague server upgrade scheduled for November 27th - December 1st
ITS will move Colleague to new servers on November 27 through December 1st. Colleague, Norse Hub and my.luther.edu will not be available starting at 3 p.m. on Wednesday November 27th. All Colleague related services are expected to be available again on December 1st.
Wednesday, November 27th
Colleague, Norse Hub and my.luther.edu will be unavailable to end-users starting at 3 p.m. At 3 p.m. ITS will start the data backup and a series of steps to move Colleague to new servers. Business Objects reporting will be refreshed with data through the end of business on Wednesday and will continue to be available throughout the weekend.
Saturday, November 30th
On Friday evening and Saturday, ITS will open access to select individuals to verify that systems that interact with Colleague are working.
Sunday, December 1st
After ITS testing is complete, ITS will enable Colleague, Norse Hub and my.luther.edu to be available to all users.
