    • Lockers
      • Paul Mattson shared that Deanna Casterton shared an interest in electronic lockers she’d seen at a trade show for bookshop managers. Ricoh has shared the idea of leveraging them for packages. We’ll want to collectively look for synergies.

      • We discussed upcoming plans to do a round of recycling.

    • 2 Factor for Colleague Update:
      • Adam Forsyth and Chris Stuckman are looking into another option for 2 Factor.
  • ITS Operational Reports
    • Software Development
      • The KATIE support team discussed scheduling eThink maintenance so eThink can change service providers from Rackspace to AWS. This requires 4 hours of downtime. Holly White and Adam Forsyth need to be available for IP address switching and initial system testing. eThink expects performance to improve on AWS. A test site is available on AWS and KST is testing, but eThink has shared they are not quite ready. Next options are April 2nd or another weekend in April if eThink would be willing to do the maintenance on a weekend. Luther responsibilities for the eThink AWS change are to?

        • Facilitate the setup of the new VPN on AWS
        • Make an entry to allow the new IP for LDAP and SMTP
      • Spirion and Information Security Committee Update
        • Spirion is being rolled out this week to Campus Programming. Meetings this week include Development on 3/19. Meetings are being planned for 3/26-3/31 with Admissions and the President’s Office.

          • The next meeting is 3/22.
          • Eric Runestad asked Jacob Secor to provide an overview of GDPR.
      • Reeher Project
        • Faust Gertz is researching file transfer options for files created through direct SQL select statements.
      • Jean Ryan is working on installation of Colleague User Interface 5.5 in production and test.
      • Colleague Student Planning and Self Service
        • ITS met with Kristin Swanson and RyAnn Winings to review the Advising functionality and additional work that has been done with Student Planning.  
        • ITS plans to refresh the test account on April 14-15 so that Registrar student workers and their advisors can work with real data to simulate the advising process for Spring registration.
        • ITS is working with Financial Aid to configure their menus, checklist, required documents, reference list, and awarding process.
        • Dustin Cote and Ellucian are troubleshooting the support for SAML/SSO setup in the test environment.
        • Colleague Self Service 2.19 is available for installation in the test and production environments.
      • Marcia Gullickson and Corey Landstrom shared the Luther College Chosen Name and Gender policy with the full CORE team on Tuesday, March 13th. The CORE members have a number of questions for the sub-committee to research and address. The Luther College Chosen Name and Gender sub committee will meet on Thursday.
      • Marcia Gullickson got feedback from our colleagues in CLAC on course proposal software and is gathering information on APC solutions that the college could consider for license.  
      • Tom Tague has announced his resignation of his programmer analyst position to start a new job in Madison Wisconsin. Tom’s last day will be March 30th.
