User Services Meeting 3/5/18

Project Updates - Each team member shared projects on which they are currently working.

Giving Day - Muaz and Jack provided information on the 12-hour Giving Day live stream that's from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday, March 8. The mobile streaming cart, with a new switcher and communication system, is being finalized and tested. This same system will be used for streaming commencement.

Summer Student Employment - Student applications were due on Friday, March 2, and the goal is to have offers to students prior to spring break.

Recycling - Larry is starting to prepare another round of Luther-owned electronics for recycling. ITS members with items to be recycled are to contact him, if they haven't already.

Circulation Equipment - Eddy reviewed a list of items that are no longer going to be circulated and we discussed plans for each of them. They include Chromebooks, iPads, Kindles, barcode scanners, and miscellaneous cables and adapters. This change was prompted by the addition of 20 Dell Venues to the circulation inventory.

Dell Venues - We reviewed the feedback from the Dell Venues that were used by off-campus courses over J-Term and will be added to the circulation inventory.
