Nancy Elaine (Wade) Lerner of Cross Plains, Wis., passed away peacefully on June 27, 2018, after a long and courageous life with Parkinson’s disease. Nancy was born in Milwaukee on June 5, 1950.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Ellsworth and Eleanor Wade. She is survived by her loving husband, Howard; son, Daniel, and daughter-in-law, Sara; and grandson, Marco. She was the sister of Sandra McDonald and Gary Wade. Nancy is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Nancy graduated in 1975 from Madison General Hospital School of Nursing. She enjoyed her time as a nurse. Her passions involved artistic endeavors such as painting chairs, tie-dying, knitting, and sketching. Nancy was loved by all who knew her and she will be greatly missed. Special thanks to her many care givers, especially Megan Slayton and Patricia Litscher, for their compassionate care. Donations to the Wisconsin chapter of the American Parkinson Association are appreciated.
