Adam W. Kiracofe passed away surrounded by loved ones on Nov. 9, 2018, at his home in Foxboro, Mass., after a 12-year battle with brain cancer. Adam was full of life and never happier than when he was with his family and friends. An avid fan of the Green Bay Packers and the University of Michigan sports teams, he also loved music, enjoyed singing, played basketball for as long as he was able, and was always ready to mix a fancy cocktail.
Adam was born in Petoskey, Mich., on Sept. 2, 1978, and grew up on Mackinac Island, Mich., and in Door County, Wis. He graduated from Luther College in Decorah, Iowa, in 2000 and received his law degree from Boston University in 2004, where he graduated fifth in his class and served as editor-in-chief of the law review. After school, Adam clerked for an Iowa Supreme Court justice and worked as a trusts and estates lawyer until his cancer recurred in 2014.
Adam was preceded in death by his dear younger sister, Victoria Ashley Kiracofe. He is survived by his loving wife, Jaclyn (Johnson) Kiracofe ‘00, his wonderful sons Riley (age 13) and Jameson (age 7), beloved parents Gary L. and Dawn S. Kiracofe of Sturgeon Bay, Wis., sister Elizabeth N. Cousineau (husband Chris), cousin Tricia L. Bennett (husband David and their daughter Lily), niece Clara, and nephew Owen.
Relatives and friends were invited to attend calling hours and a service on Nov. 18, 2018, at Roberts & Sons Funeral Home, 30 South Street, Foxboro, MA 02035.
