The Ethnic Arts Festival will once again celebrate the diverse and vibrant cultures represented in the Luther community Saturday, March 2, in the Dahl Centennial Union on the Luther College campus.
The festival begins at 1 p.m. and is open to the public with no charge for admission. This year, the festival, themed “A Wedding Story,” will share tales of weddings around the world. Luther students adorned in traditional dress of their native culture will welcome guests to a Country Fair, with displays and information, kids' activities and more.
Following the Country Fair, guests can enjoy a taste of ethnic cuisine in the Peace Dining Room at 4:30 p.m. Ticket prices for the meal are $12 for adults and $3 for children ages five to ten.
Wrapping up the event is a dazzling array of entertainment by talented students on the main stage in the Center for Faith and Life. Student participants may include not only international students, but also multicultural students, and students who have studied abroad and are excited about a new culture and new friends.
