Gabriel Weisberg, professor of art history at the University of Minnesota and the country's foremost expert on the Barbizon School, will deliver the Luther College 2012-13 Gerhard Marcks Art History Lecture at 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 13, in Room 102 of the Franklin W. Olin Building on the Luther College campus.

Luther College to Participate in Campus Conservation Nationals

Luther College will be participating in the 2013 Campus Conservation Nationals, which is a nationwide electricity and water use reductions competition. The competition, held Feb. 25 through Mar. 15, challenges students from more than 200 universities and colleges to achieve the greatest reductions in their residence hall over the three week period.

Center Stage Series: Luther College to present 'First Person: Seeing America'

The history of our country's extraordinary people will be brought to life through words, live music and iconic images in the Luther College Center Stage Series performance of "First Person: Seeing America." Actor Rob Nagle and actress Lily Knight will narrate a series of photographs from the metropolitan Museum of Art set to the backdrop of original music performed by Ensemble Galilei.
