Thanks to the gifts of two generous alumni, the Career Center was able to implement two new programs to help connect Luther students to the broader world. One was the Internship Funding Program, which makes it financially possible for students to pursue internships in their field of interest (read this post to learn more about this program).

Jenna Iverson '18 was able to fund her internship with Dr. Todd Holmquist '96 during January Term 2017 thanks to the Internship Funding Program. Jenna was able to shadow Todd and complete research alongside medical school students at New York’s University of Rochester Medical Center.

Jenna also expressed her gratitude for the alumni who provided support to the Career Center, "Thank you for your donation to Luther College. It helped me a great deal and made this internship experience possible."
