The Cross Family Fund for Excellence in Nursing, established by Bert S. and Bernice Cross, awarded to qualified students who are nursing majors.
The Bernice Fischer Cross and Bert S. Cross Perpetual Endowment for the Luther College Mayo Nursing Program and Health Sciences Program, established to honor the life and memory of Bernice Fischer Cross and the distinguished career of Bert S. Cross. This endowment is to be used for equal-share assistance for the Luther College nursing students enrolled in the curriculum provided in the Mayo Medical Center in Rochester, Minnesota (presently the junior academic year).
The Ellerman Endowed Scholarship Fund, established by Alvida C. Hale and Lillian E. Ellerman in memory of their parents, Mr. and Mrs. A.G. Ellerman, to be awarded to students majoring in nursing with preference given to students who have demonstrated financial need.
The Jolene Elmore Nursing Scholarship, established by Dennis and Jolene Elmore to be awarded to students who can show evidence of financial need with first preference given to students majoring in nursing.
The Johnson-Grimm Family Scholarship, established by Maryln Johnson-Grimm ’50 to be awarded to students in need of financial assistance who are majoring in nursing.
The Karl H. and Anna B. Nordgaard Endowed Nursing Scholarship, established by Karl H. Nordgaard, his family and friends, in memory of his wife, Anna B. Nordgaard, a nurse by profession, to be awarded to nursing majors who demonstrate financial need.
The Gudrun Lyngaas Osmundson Scholarship Fund for Excellence in Nursing, established through a bequest in Connie L. Osmundsons's Last Will and Testament. Preference will be given to students majoring in nursing based primarily on academic excellence, but other factors may also be considered, including a demonstrated need for financial assistance.
The Rose and Burton Oyen Nursing/Health Care Scholarship, established by Duane Oyen ’66 in honor of his parents, Rose and Burton Oyen, to be awarded to junior or senior students majoring in nursing who show evidence of need for financial assistance. Second preference shall be given to students considering a career in a health care profession.
The Marjorie Olney Running Memorial Scholarship, established by O. M. Running in memory of his wife, to be awarded to deserving students pursuing nursing degrees.
