Prints and Books by Ladislav Hanka (with occasional help from the beekeeper's art)

Ladislav Hanka earned his BA in Biology from Kalmazoo College before going on to earn an MS in Zoology from Colorado State University and an MFA in Printmaking from Western Michigan University. He is a prolific artist, naturalist, and author whose work can be found in a variety of collections both in the United States and abroad, including the Fogg Museum of Art at Harvard University; the Nelson Atkins Museum of Art in Kansas City; the National Museum of Prague; the British Library in London; and the Library of Congress in Washington D.C.
Hanka currently lives in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
Copies of the book (cover image shown on this page) will be available at the Luther Book Shop during the course of the exhibit.
