This past year, the COVID-19 Pandemic added another layer of uncertainty to the future that could impact the investment in education that many families are making. As a result, Luther worked to establish a partnership with GradGuard by Allianz Global Assistance to help provide our families with tuition insurance. Our hope is that this will provide an extra layer of certainty as we find our way through the "new normal" together.
While going to remote learning will not be covered, GradGuard is currently accommodating claims for those that contract COVID-19 or those with mental health concerns as a result of COVID-19. As the situation is ever fluid, we recommend visiting GradGuard.com/covid-19 for the most up to date policy coverage information before purchasing.
Each year, there are students who are unable to complete their semester classes due to unforeseen medical issues such as illness, accidents, or mental health related issues. At Luther, depending on the date of your withdrawal, you may not be eligible to receive a refund of all your tuition and fees. GradGuard coverage expands the scope of our refund policy by ensuring reimbursement for tuition, room, board, other fees for covered withdrawals at any time during the semester.
