DESCRIPTION:Starting on Friday\, July 25\, the exhibit will be open daily 8 a.m.–10 p.m. in the gallery on the main level of the Dahl Centennial Union. \n“An Assembly of the Silly Fair Ones: Norwegian-American Women’s Educational Opportunities and Organizations in the Decorah Area” focuses on Norwegian-American women’s vital contributions to community organizations in the Decorah area\, from the early pioneer period to modern times. The exhibit also traces the journey to coeducation at Luther College\, revealing women’s hidden roles on campus\, evolving gender dynamics\, and changing student demographics.

DESCRIPTION:“Owl at Home” is a charming musical retelling of the beloved book by Arnold Lobel – in which the well-meaning but slightly confused Owl experiences simple domestic adventures like making tear-water tea\, being afraid of the bumps in his bed\, and trying to be in two places at once. \nThis is a new work composed and written by Luther faculty members Brooke Joyce and Bobby Vrtis and is especially geared toward children— pre-K-4th grade. All are welcome! \nIn the weeks leading up to the performance\, tickets will be available at tickets.luther.edu and at the ticket office located in the Center for Faith and Life. \n
