Sponsored by Dean's Office, ITS
This workshop provides an opportunity for faculty and staff to learn about the pedagogy of eportfolios (electronic portfolios), discuss objectives for using eportfolios at Luther, and to receive guidance in technical matters related to using Google Sites as an eportfolio platform. Participants will discuss the advantages of eportfolio use in the classroom, in advising, and in other settings. They will have time to work in groups to develop eportfolio-related materials for students. The day will begin with an optional introduction to the mechanics of using Google Sites for eportfolio design. Lunch will be provided immediately following the workshop for groups to continue their eportfolio work. The Dean’s Office will provide lunch for groups to meet several more times throughout the summer to develop their eportfolio projects.
Participants will receive a $25 stipend for this half-day workshop.
