Luther finished 9th of 25 teams at the UW-Eau Claire BluGold Invitational this afternoon. The race was held on the Whitetaie Golf Course, Colfax, Wis.
The Norse posted a team score of 237 points. University of Minnesota won the team title with 44, followed by UW-La Crosse with 94 and St. Olaf College with 105.
Individually, Tricia Serres won the individual title clocked at 21:48. Danielle Thiel of Lakehead University was second crossing the finish line in 21:58, and Noelle Olson of St. Olaf was third with a time of 22:04. There were 424 competitors this afternoon.
Completing Luther's top seven was Jayne Cole (22nd - 23:00), Maggie Pierson (56th - 23:56), Kayla Uphoff (73rd - 24:14), Brenna Gibbons (85th - 24:27), Sophie Ristau (101st - 24:49) and Maddie Lambert (102nd - 24:49).
The Norse will return to action on Oct. 12 when they will race at the St. Catherine University Invite.
