Luther wrapped up the three-day Twin Cities Classic hosted by Gustavus Adolphus College, shooting a 918 and finished tied for eighth place from the field of 17 teams. The Norse shot rounds of 300-310-308.
Gustavus won the team title carding an 879. University of Manitoba was second at 884, followed by Nebraska Wesleyan and St. Thomas tied for third at 889. Central College finished one stroke ahead of the Norse with a 917.
Individually, Andrew Peter posted a top-10 finish from the field of 90 golfers. Peter finished tied for ninth with rounds of 69-76-75 for a 220. Charlie Boyechko was the tournament medalist with a three under par 213.
The rest of the Norse squad and how they finished included Elliot Horst (t21 - 227), Tobias Kohl (56th - 239), Joel Bruns (t57th - 240) and Matt Axelrod (t66th - 243). Adam Turner played as an individual and finished t85th with a 260.
The Norse will wrap up their fall schedule at the Viterbo University Invitational to be played Oct. 7-8 in Onalaska, Wis.
