University of Dubuque posted a 65-57 come-from-behind victory over Luther tonight at the Stoltz Sports Center in Dubuque.
Luther, who held the lead until 5:12 left in the game, led by as many as 13 points (41-28) with a little over 13 minutes left in the second half. The Spartans rallied back and put together a 37-16 run down the stretch to secure the victory.
Luther was led by Taylor Johnson who produced her seventh double-double of the year, thanks to 23 points and 12 rebounds, both game highs. Meagan Koepnick also tallied double figures with a career high 17 that included a 4-for-4 performance from behind the three-point line.
The loss drops Luther's Iowa Conference record to 2-10, 5-16 overall. Dubuque improves to 11-10, 6-6 in league play.
Luther will host Simpson College Saturday, Feb. 4. Tip-off will take place at 2:00 p.m. in the Regents Center. This game will be video streamed.
