Luther wrapped up its fall schedule at the two-day Viterbo University Ronnie Eastman Invitational. The eight-team field played at the La Crosse Country Club.
Luther shot rounds of 325-329 for a 654 and placed fifth. Kirkwood Community College won the team title with a 594. Host Viterbo University was second at 618, and was followed by University of Jamestown at 620 and Wartburg College at 649.
Individually, Joe Fewer led the Norse placing 11th. Fewer shot rounds of 74-77 for a 151. Michael Schmitz of Winona State University, who played as an individual, was the tournament medalist carding rounds of 70-67-137. There were 59 players in the field.
Completing the Norse five and how they finished included Ben Grotnes (T27 - 80-80-160), JP Knutson (T46 - 85-85-171), Spencer Horst (T48 - 86-86-172), and Connor Gossman (T54 - 91-88-179).
Carson Hagen played as an individual and finished T39. He posted rounds of 87-79-166.
