Luther placed 6th of 30 teams at the UW-La Crosse Invitational held at the Ettrick Golf Club this morning.
Host UW-La Crosse won the team title with 61 points. Winona State University was second with 115, followed by College of St. Benedict with 175. Luther tallied 246 points.
Tricia Serres placed fifth overall from the field of 453 runners clocked at 21:58. Viola Kebenei from Iowa Central won the individual title posting a time of 21:30.
Completing Luther's top seven and third times included Kaia Bierman (23:16), McKenzie Carney (23:33), Lauren Mordini (23:46), Kara Maloney (24:05), Hannah Wright (24:16) and Mallory Carr (24:27).
The Norse will host UW-La Crosse on Oct. 24. This dual meet will begin at 4:30 p.m.
