Luther hosted Loras College and Nebraska Wesleyan University for the Luther Triangular, the lone home meet of the year. Luther finished second with 42 points. Nebraska Wesleyan won the team title with 29 and Loras finished with 51.
Kassie Rosenbum of Loras won the individual title, posting an average mile pace of 5:43.4. She crossed the finish line of the 6K course with a time of 21:21. Four Nebraska Wesleyan runners followed, with Camryn Larsen finishing as the runner-up clocked at 23:26. There were 54 runners in today's field.
Luther was led by the trio of Heather Hostager (6th - 23:48), Lauren Berg (7th - 24:09) and Amelia Hornseth (8th - 24:17). Stephanie Lewis (10th - 24:28) and Katie Fetting (11th - 24:29) completed the top-five. Anneke Knauss (14th - 24:49) and Lauren Mahnke (19th - 25:16) finished sixth and seventh for the Norse.
Luther's final regular season triangular will be in two weeks. The Norse will travel to Cedar Rapids, Iowa for the Coe College Triangular. Start time is slated for 2:00 p.m.
The American Rivers Conference Championships will be held Saturday, Nov. 7 at Central College, Pella, Iowa.
