Nebraska Wesleyan University hosted a two-day tournament April 14-15 in Lincoln, Neb. The first 18 holes was played at Wilderness Ridge Golf Course and the final 18 holes was played at Hillcrest Country Club.
Luther shot rounds of (308-315-623) and finished in sixth place from the field of 11 teams. Host Nebraska Wesleyan won the team title (292-296-588). Bellevue University was second with a (292-298-590) and the University of Dubuque was third at (292-317-609).
Individually, Joe Fewer posted a top-10 finish. Fewer carded rounds of (73-75-148) and finished in a two-way tie for eighth from the field of 64 golfers. Grant Johnson of Nebraska Wesleyan was medalist (74-69-143).
Ben Phipps (T12 - 74-77-151), Spencer Horst (T45 - 80-83-163), JP Knutson (T47 - 84-80-164) and Carson Hagen (T55 - 81-87-168) completed the Norse five. Ben Meyer played as an individual and shot (77-80-157) and finsihed alone in 26th place.
Luther will be off until the first 36 holes of the American Rivers Conference Tournament. The first two rounds will be played at Finkbine Golf Course, Iowa City, Iowa April 26-27.
