Announcements

  • The Office for College Ministries is seeking students that would be interested in serving as conversation partners about multifaith engagement and support at Luther. College Ministries supports the campus community in its diversity of faith traditions and spiritual commitments. If you are interested in these sorts of conversations, please email [email protected] or fill out this google form.
  • Schedule a brief 15 minute meeting with Josh to check-in and learn more about how CIES can support you! Click here to schedule a meeting.
  • CEPE-Student Orgs. Collaboration: The Center for Ethics and Public Engagement aims to extend conversation beyond the classroom. If your student organization is planning any events (such as lectures, guest speakers, conferences, book groups, etc.) we would like to partner with you!!! Let us know how can we help you by filling this form! Our aid could be financial, facilitating a space (our office is in Olin 214), offering guide or resources to achieve your goals and our mission, and in many other ways. Questions? email: [email protected]
  • International students: Remember that it is a violation of your F-1 visa to work more than 20 hours per week when classes are in session. Doing so could result in your status being terminated, so please ensure that you are not in this position.
  • Call for Projects for Peace Proposals! The Projects for Peace program encourages students to develop innovative, community-centered, and scalable responses to the world’s most pressing issues. If selected, students/student groups receive $10,000 to carry out their project during Summer 2022. Along the way, students increase their knowledge, improve skills, and establish identities as peacebuilders and changemakers. Compelling past projects have addressed one or more of the following: contributing to conflict prevention; ameliorating conditions leading to violence and conflict; building on shared attributes among differing groups; fostering diplomacy; promoting economic opportunity and entrepreneurship; finding creative ways to bring people together to promote common humanity; and starting/leveraging community initiatives or infrastructure projects to rebuild communities. Interested in learning more? Contact Jon Lund, [email protected], to discuss the proposal process, budget development, and timeframe. Proposals are due January 17, 2022.
  • Did you know that as part of its efforts to continuously improve the campus climate for diversity, equity and inclusion, Luther has a bias response form? If you experience any discrimination and or harrassment because of your identity(ies), please report using this form Luther College Bias Incident Report Form
  • Wintlett would love to check in with as many new students as her schedule can accommodate now until the end of the semester. Each check in would be about 15 minutes. Interested? Email [email protected] to schedule a mutually convenient time.
