Friday, October 4th from 4-7pm and Saturday, October 5th from 9am-12pm and 1pm-4pm in Studio 2.
Amy graduated Luther in 2004 with degrees in Theatre/Dance and Management. She has performed concert dance, commercial dance, and experimental and interdisciplinary art in NYC, Minneapolis and on tour. Amy was an advertising and event sales manager for a family of dance magazines and is currently a fitness instructor and teacher trainer in aerial fitness, bungee fitness, pilates and circuit training.
Amy is looking forward to combining her loves of dance and aerial fitness for the "Razzle Dazzle" piece for Chicago. She is inspired by the work of Bob Fosse and the flow of aerial lyra movement. She is looking forward to exchanging insights with Luther artists for this piece.
Please wear long, tight pants--leggings and even double up the leggings. There will be more people to learn the techniques so dancers can take breaks and watch and learn as well as learn and do.
