Luther offers dance scholarships based on talent, regardless of chosen major or minor. Dance scholarships are awarded to students after they have been admitted to Luther.
Luther Dance Scholarships recognize incoming students who display outstanding potential for participation in Luther's dance program. Candidates for a Luther Dance Scholarship are identified through an audition and brought to the attention of the scholarship committee.
$8,000 over four years ($2,000 per year).
Audition and Interview:
Perform a prepared or improvisational solo (1 to 1½ minutes) for dance faculty, and then talk with dance faculty in an informal interview about the creative process.
The audition and interview process is now closed for those students beginning enrollment in the Fall of 2018. Students beginning enrollment later than the Fall of 2018 should contact the Admissions Office for additional information on the audition and interview process.
Renewable up to 8 semesters, based on full-time enrollment and satisfactory academic progress and participation in dance productions each year at Luther.
