Frequently Asked Questions

Please see below frequently asked questions about the dance scholarship audition process.

Are live auditions preferred?

Yes. Live auditions are strongly preferred. Luther auditions are structured like a one-on-one advising session. Having an in-person interaction with our dance faculty works in the best interest of the student. On-campus auditions also give you a chance to see our facilities.

If the distance you live from Luther makes auditioning on campus impractical (greater than 200 miles), the dance faculty will accept a high-quality video recording. Links to videos (ex. YouTube) are acceptable. Students submitting work this way should include contact phone number so an interview make take place over the phone. Video links may be submitted by email to Savannah Horn prior to the December 1 deadline each year.
