Luther in Silicon Valley

The group spends a day with alumni at Google.

CS/MGT 385 Gives you the opportunity to experience the high tech world of Silicon Valley first hand. Spend three weeks on the west coast visiting some of the most successful companies in the world. You will also meet entrepreneurs who are just in the early startup stage of their business. Maybe you will meet the founders of the next Google.

Over the years we have visited companies large and small, met with venture capitalists, public relations professionals, inventors, scientists, authors, and more. Also, we have attended meetups to hear founders pitch their ideas for a new company, and seen how bacteria can create biodiesel. Here is a list of some places we have visited.

Besides meeting with professionals, we have visited the Monterey Bay aquarium, ridden bikes across the golden gate bridge, eaten seafood on Fisherman's Wharf, and even taken a 25 hour train ride from Seattle to San Jose.
