Summer 2019

Dear Class of 2004,

Believe it or not, it has been fifteen years since that rainy morning when we walked across the stage, shaking President Torgerson’s hand to symbolically accept our respective bachelor’s degrees. This means it is time, once again, to celebrate the years since that special day this fall during Luther’s Homecoming, October 4-6, 2019.

We will celebrate our fifteen-year reunion on Saturday, October 5, at the Upstairs Banquet Hall at T-Bock’s in Decorah. The event will begin at 6:30 p.m. and hearty hors d’oeuvres will be served beginning at 7:00 p.m. The cost is $25 per person. We hope to see you there for an evening of socializing and re-connecting with friends. If you plan to attend, please be sure to make your reservations by submitting the enclosed form or online at luther.edu/homecoming.

Plans are underway to make our reunion event meaningful and memorable. As you prepare to come to Decorah, we encourage you to think about the ways in which you have learned and grown since your time at Luther. Please come ready to share a meaningful milestone you have met in the past fifteen years that you could not have done without your education and experience at Luther. As some of you may have seen, our class reunion has a Facebook page. If you are not already a member, just look up Luther College Class of 2004 - 15 Year Reunion and join today! Moving forward we will share reminders and updates as reunion plans progress. Feel free to use the group to connect with your classmates, submit ideas for reunion activities and share tips on housing and hotels. 

Finally, be sure to keep up-to-date on everything going on by checking out Luther’s official homecoming schedule at luther.edu/homecoming/schedule. Also, if you have lost touch with any classmates, feel free to use the Online Alumni Directory at luther.edu/alumni/directory.
