Dear Classmate of 2005,
We hope you are well. It always seems as if the seasons move so quickly, especially nearer the holiday seasons of Thanksgiving and Christmas! We intend to update you on some of the more recent news from our alma mater and provide a continued connection between all of us as we go about our busy lives!
In case you weren’t aware, during the summer of 2017 Carlson Stadium received an upgraded playing surface. The field is now the only blue turf field at an NCAA Division III school. This will be a distinguishing feature of Luther athletics for years to come! To stay up-to-date on all Luther news and activities, remember the plethora of resources available to you! The Luther Alumni Magazine is a wonderful way to stay connected with recent information about what is going on at Luther. In addition to this, there are so many easy ways to connect with Luther on social media at www.luther.edu/connect. Remember to keep your alumni profile updated at www.luther.edu/alumni. As we get farther from our time at Luther, finding ways to stay connected can be more difficult, but you can find information about alumni events at www.luther.edu/alumni/events.
Finally, we would like to remind you about the importance of your continued support to Luther College. Visit givenow.luther.edu to donate to the Luther Fund (formerly Luther’s Annual Fund) and other areas. While this is an important way to help Luther continue to provide educational opportunities to all future students, there are other ways to help as well! In addition to financial support to the college, alumni can act as ambassadors for Luther College (www.luther.edu/ambassadors/). By referring high school students to Luther College by the deadline each year, they become eligible for a scholarship in your name!
