Class of 1993 Spring 2018 Letter

Spring 2018

Dear Member of the Class of 1993,

October 26-28, 2018!  If you read no further than this first paragraph, I want to make sure you have these dates in mind and on your calendar! This is a big year for us, Class of ’93!  We celebrate our 25-year class reunion just a few months from now. We would love to have a wonderful turnout from our class, and to have the opportunity to catch up on old memories and make new ones!

The reunion committee is excited to be at work, doing our best to plan a fun and relaxing weekend. There is a lot more planning to do and any/all ideas are welcome! Some of the ideas underway include watching the homecoming parade from Pulpit Rock Brewery, a dedicated fundraising campaign on behalf of our class, and of course a class dinner at Oneota Country Club.

If you are a Facebook user, please “like” our new Class of ’93 reunion page for the latest updates, news and plans. The former Facebook group for our class will close down and transition to the new page. Our classmate, Mitch Thompson, has graciously volunteered to put together a slideshow for our class. Time to get out the photo albums, pick out your faves and send them to Mitch at [email protected].

There is a lot going on besides our reunion!  The Oneota Film Fest takes place in Decorah April 19-22.  And, as long as we’re having a reunion year – why not get warmed up by attending Nordic Fest July 26-28?  Good times!

Have you become a member of the Luther Loyalty Society yet? The Loyalty Society recognizes donors who have made gifts to the college at any level for three or more consecutive years. Use the attached form and the reusable envelope or visit to donate today! Regular giving to Luther is a great habit to cultivate!

I will see you very soon!  Let’s make it a great 25th!
