On-Campus Recruiting

Organizations visit the Career Center each year to conduct preliminary interviews with prospective (student) candidates for internships and full-time career opportunities.

Who: It’s for all students but primarily Juniors and Seniors. Recruiters select certain “majors” to interview depending on each company’s requirements for the position(s).

What: One convenient and simple way for you to job search is through the On-Campus Recruiting Program. This provides you with opportunities to interview on campus for full-time positions and/or internships with various employers who have positions across the nation. The employer comes to you here at Luther!

When: The busiest months for interviews are October/November and February/March. However, companies do come to campus to interview throughout the academic year.

Where: The interviews take place in the Career Center, located on the 2nd floor of the Union.

How: Companies typically pre-screen resumes and then select those that they want to interview on campus. From submitting your resume to signing up for an interview time, all is done online through the Career Center’s system using the Handshake platform. Check this link often and click on “Campus Interviews I Qualify For.” If you are interested in the company, the position, and match their requirements, you can submit your resume. Watch your email from the Career Center advertising the companies that schedule to come to campus. It’s as simple as that!
