Athletic Training

Luther College offers a bachelor of arts degree in athletic training for students wishing to prepare for a career in the healthcare field. Graduates will have the certification and training to perform as an entry-level athletic trainer.

The Athletic Training Education Program (ATEP) at Luther College is a caATe-accredited, four-year academic and three-year clinical program.

Our students gain clinical experience as an athletic trainer for Luther College athletics in addition to traditional classroom learning. The hands on experience is a great benefit for our students and is unique to any college experience.
