Preserving the History of COVID-19 at Luther College

What was it like to live during the COVID-19 crisis?

The COVID-19 pandemic is an historic moment that will be of great interest to future historians and researchers. To preserve this history, the Luther College Archives is collecting material documenting how COVID-19 has affected our campus community, from remote-working and distance learning to how our daily lives have been altered. We invite faculty, staff, students, alumni, and Winneshiek County community members to submit items reflecting their experience to be preserved in the Archives using the Google Forms linked below.

There are no limits to what you can contribute. Pictures of a neighborhood or at-home work and study spaces, syllabi updated to accommodate distance learning, screenshots of a Zoom meeting, social media posts about what you did on a certain day, a recipe for that new sourdough starter you’re keeping alive, a video of yourself or a loved one talking about life during this pandemic--all of these would be important contributions and help tell the story of our Luther College and Winneshiek County community during this time.
