Let's bring together all Norse wrestlers past and present for a weekend celebration and to kick off the 70th season of Luther College Wrestling in 2020-21.
Since 1951, the Norse have had 31 one-time All-Americans, 20 two-time All-Americans, seven three-time All-Americans, and two four-time All-Americans. In addition, Dan Boos '80 was an NCAA Division I All-American in 1979, and Gary Neist '69 was an Olympian in 1972. We have crowned 13 individual NCAA Division III National Champions and 11 National Runners-up. 15 Luther College teams have finished in the Top-10 in the Nation. You can check the Luther Wrestling Record Book here for more information!
We will gather Friday evening June 12, 2020, for a casual evening social (Site TBA). Saturday will include optional tours of the athletic facilities, a run/walk event, or casual bike ride on the Trout Run Trail (or mountain biking with Coach O'Gara!), and opportunities for golf, canoeing and kayaking, or to explore Decorah in the afternoon on your own. On Saturday evening we will have a barbecue dinner on campus.
Contact your friends and teammates and make plans for a trip to Decorah. DO NOT miss this once-in-a-lifetime event! Spouses/significant others are welcome.
