Due to space limitations, students traveling with a parent are not eligible for our airport shuttle.
Students may book their own flight and a reimbursement of up to $300 will be awarded following the visit event.
For students traveling alone
Students traveling alone are eligible to participate in our shuttle program from the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport (MSP).
Students planning to take advantage of the shuttle service will receive further travel information after registering for the visit event. Please register for the event prior to making travel arrangements!
Students planning to take the shuttle to and from campus will book their travel through our partner travel agency, Sundance Travel, and will receive a $300 flight credit awarded at the time of booking.
The shuttle will pick students up at the airport the day before the visit event, and drop-off will be the day after the event. Overnight accommodations will be with a current student on campus for two nights, and all food throughout each student's stay will be covered by the college.
There will be one shuttle pick-up and drop-off time for each event. Our travel agency will do their best to arrange arrival and departure times with minimal wait time at the airport, although that will depend on flight availability. Students may need to be prepared to spend time at the airport, and a listing of shopping and dining options can be found at https://www.mspairport.com/eat-shop-relax.
The safety of students and staff is the top priority, so in the event of inclement weather someone from the Luther College Admissions Office will be in contact to discuss travel arrangements and potentially help make alternate plans.
