I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving! I have certainly enjoyed being home with my family and celebrating together. I’m thankful for so much this year, and, of course, one thing I’m always thankful for is my time at Luther! That’s why today I’m going to be talking about five things I’ve been thankful for at Luther recently.
First, I’m really thankful for all of my friends at college!
We always have such a wonderful time together, and I have met so many lovely people. Nowhere is friendlier than Luther!
Second, I’m thankful for all the fun things there are to do on campus.
There are so many fun opportunities – from concerts to research to student organizations to interesting work study jobs and everything in between.
Third, I’m thankful that the food in the Caf is all ready– made for me, so I don’t have to cook on busy evenings!
Although I do enjoy cooking, there is definitely something wonderful about being able to waltz into the Caf and choose from a wide variety of options without any effort whatsoever. And the food is excellent!
Fourth, I’m thankful for the beautiful campus, which looks marvelous at every time of year.
Summer flowers, fall leaves, winter snow – it is all so very pretty!
And fifth, I’m thankful for all the beautiful Christmas decorations that are starting to appear!
Seeing all of the Christmas lights and trees up around campus makes me so happy! The décor puts me in the holiday mood and makes me eager to watch this year’s Christmas at Luther performance, which is bound to be fabulous!
So those are things I am thankful for at Luther this year! This is, of course, not an exhaustive list – every day I find new things to appreciate. And that’s one of the things I am most thankful for at Luther: that there are so many things to be thankful for!
