Happy Thanksgiving!

After a super busy month or so, it's finally Thanksgiving break! :) I left campus on Tuesday after my media production class.

My boyfriend, Dillon, and I spent most of Wednesday in the Des Moines area—killing some time before we saw a movie. First, we went to Which Wich for lunch...always delicious. :) I figured most stores would most likely be getting pretty busy soon, with Black Friday and all. So, after lunch we stopped at Target to get some things I needed to bring back up to Luther with me.

This new outlet mall opened in Altoona recently, so we decided to check it out. It was pretty cool, and had a lot of stores that I like: including Maurices, Bath and Body Works, and Skechers. After we checked out the new mall, it was finally time to go see the movie. We've been waiting to see Murder on the Orient Express until my break, so we could go together. It was so good! Definitely a few plot twists at the end, I'd say.

I spent Thanksgiving morning at Dillon's house, playing with his many dogs...always a fun time. There were five dogs all together, once Dillon's brother and his fiancee showed up! Later on, we went over to my aunt and uncle's for Thanksgiving food.

There were lots of people at my family's Thanksgiving. Three tables were set up in various rooms of the house to seat everybody! I got to see my cousin Maddi, which is always fun. :) Of course, the food was probably the best part. Lots of turkey, potatoes, casseroles—even mac and cheese! It was delicious. For dessert, there were brownies, cheesecake, pies, and more! Yum.

I'm going to Dillon's big family Thanksgiving get-together-party-thing tomorrow, with a bunch of his extended family. There will be more people there, than there were at my family's Thanksgiving! It should be a good time, and more good food, too. Always a plus. ;)

I already head back to Luther on Sunday, but I'm going to try and enjoy these last few days of break as much as I can. Happy Thanksgiving to all! :)
