“Diversity is not about how we differ but rather how we embrace one another's uniqueness!”

If I'm completely honest Luther wasn't one of my choices since I had planned to stay in California. However, I decided to take a leap of faith at the very last minute. In fact it was a risky one, but I have not looked back once since. Being on this campus has given me so many great leadership opportunities that I wouldn't have had any other place. I am finishing off my senior year as the diversity representative for gender and sexuality as well as the communications chair on the executive board for Student Senate. I have also been one of the student representatives to the Board of Regents, the president of Pride, president of Latines Unides, and the VP to the Students Activities Council. And I have been given the honor to work alongside the marketing director for our student brand task force.
