  • Date: Monday, August 21, 2017
  • Time: 9:00 am – 3:00 pm
  • Location: Loyalty Hall, Conference Room 100

For faculty beginning their second year of teaching at Luther, or those starting the third year who did not participate in this workshop last summer, the workshop will focus on building faculty collegiality in a non-threatening, non-doctrinaire environment; establishing arguments for the compatibility of academic excellence and church identification; introducing different models of church/college relationships; exploring a Lutheran understanding of the church college; and clarifying Luther College's particular identity and mission. The workshop continues on August 22.

Faculty receive a $100 stipend for this two-day workshop. Lunch provided for the first day.

Facilitators: Storm Bailey, Sean Burke, Maren Johnson
