Speakers

Featured writers: Mark Salzman and Anne Lamott

September 27-28, 2013

The Luther College English Department is delighted to host a gathering of national and regional writers on our Decorah, Iowa campus on September 27-28, 2013.

In the tradition of our successful festivals held in 2007 and 2010, we continue our mission of promoting highly crafted writing in all genres—work that has literary, ethical and spiritual depth.

Our keynote speakers are celebrated writers Mark Salzman and Anne Lamott, whose work in both fiction and nonfiction is nationally acclaimed.  The program will include many other writers in genres of poetry, nonfiction and prose, as well as panels on the craft and ethics of writing.

We hope you will join us!
