Sarah Wilder is a professor in the Communications Studies department. Some of her course topics include Introduction to Interpersonal Communication, Supportive Communication, Family Communication, and Communication Theories. Sarah is also looking forward to introducing new courses such as The Dark Side of Interpersonal Communication.

My primary objective in teaching is to foster opportunity for personal, professional, and intellectual growth for my students. I am truly passionate about communication and its link to the quality of an individual’s life. I am committed to sharing this passion through my teaching. I believe there are few other disciplines, if any, which can be so vastly applicable and relevant in students’ lives. It is my hope that after taking a communication course with me students will have improved relationships in their personal and professional lives through their increased understanding of the role of communication processes and function.
