The Luther Artists’ Collective (LAC) is a student-run artist organization that focuses on promoting student work outside of the classroom and involving students in the school's and Decorah's art communities. LAC is a group of working artists that work together to critique, exhibit and sell work. They hold weekly meetings in the Korsrud painting studio where they critique student work, organize art events and plan trips to galleries and museums around the Midwest. SPIN Theatre Company is an official student organization of Luther College advised by faculty member Lisa Lantz. Run by a board of upperclass students, it offers opportunities for students of all years, majors, and experience levels to explore their interests in areas of theatre including acting, set design, directing, stage management, and lighting/sound.
Top Banana (TB) is an official student organization of Luther College advised by Dr. Robert Vrtis. TB is an audition based improv comedy troupe, specializing in the art of short form. Holding several shows throughout the semester, TB provides an opportunity for members to craft their improv skills.
