The U.S. News and World Report college rankings organizes universities and colleges into several different categories based on types of higher education institutions.

Luther College is included in the National Liberal Arts College category along with 180 other ranked schools and a small number of non-ranked schools. The table below lists the seven criteria in which schools are ranked along with Luther's overall ranking and ranking in each of the seven respective areas.
