We are pleased to announce the schedule for the May 9, 2014, Student Research Symposium. You will see that there are two separate download-able pdfs (below).
The first includes the full Research Symposium "day-at-a-glance" and the listing of topics, presenters, sessions, and abstracts. We hope that you will talk with your students about participating in the full day, beginning with the opening session at 9:00 a.m. in the CFL main hall that will include both a short address by President-elect Carlson and research reflections by two outstanding students. Sessions continue throughout the day, with concurrent oral sessions, lunch on Bentdahl Commons (we hope!), a poster session, interludes for conversation and music, and evening performances.
The second lists the Paideia 112 research presentations. These sessions, also interspersed throughout the day, showcase the outstanding research that students do during their spring Paideia course. Faculty have selected a student from each section to present his or her research. Students have been organized into panels; the names and topics are listed in this special supplementary program.
No need to print out these pdfs: Printed brochures will be available at the CFL at the beginning of the day and at the various venues thereafter.
We look forward to seeing you there!
