Biodiesel Production and Campus Energy Internship

Position Start Date: Anytime between May 21 and June 1, 2013
Position End Date: Anytime between August 17 - Aug 25, 2013

Work Expectations: 40 hrs/week for at least 10 weeks
Pay Rate: $7.25 per hour

This is a summer internship working with Luther College Facilities Services on the production of biodiesel and other energy conservation measures.

Responsibilities Include:

Working 20 hours per week
Moving 55 gallon drums of waste vegetable oil
Producing 80 gallon batches of biodiesel
Working on other energy conservation measures on campus

Qualifications

Enrollment at Luther College
Some chemistry background
Physically able to handle full 55 gallon drums
Interest in sustainability
Willingness to get dirty
