Luther's wind turbine hits landmark

Recipient of a 2012 Second Nature Climate Leadership Award. One of eight colleges across the country to receive an "A" on the 2011 College Sustainability Report Card.

In mid-June 2014, Luther College's wind turbine hit the 10 million kilowatt hours landmark. The turbine started generating power for the grid in October 2011, and on average produces 30% of the electrons used on campus. To find out more, click here.
